Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the VAS partners and third party application vendors.
  • Coordination of convergence systems, postpaid billing and VAS.
  • Monitoring performance indicator for billing and VAS nodes.
  • Manage the design, development and installation of application enhancements and upgrades.
  • Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new applications.
  • Ensure compliance of internal SLA between the billing/VAS section and the business.

Job Title: Product Analyst
Responsibilities
  • Participate in developing new products and services, portal and device.
  • Participate in project life cycle from new product research, modelling, implementation and ongoing product evaluation.
  • Facilitate accurate data analysis and reporting on performance update, project deliverables, quality, cost, time etc.
  • Drive continuous improvements, identify trends/patterns pertaining to customer requests and needs to improve
    Provide regular and adhoc analysis and reports
Candidates Requirements
  • BSc Degree in IT/Software Engineering
  • ITIL Certification

  • Experience in telecoms billing/VAS added advantage
Job Title: Applications Support Engineer
Responsibilities
  • Work with the team and to deliver data products and provide business insights through data analysis.
  • Carry out customer analytics required for execution of offers.
  • Ensure compliance of internal SLA between application team and business.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Support marketing sections and in the execution of data analyses.
  • Carry out detailed data mining, reporting, and delivering market/trend analyses to the business.
  • Extract data from various applications and systems, manipulates and explores data, produce analyses using Microsoft Access, Excel, SAS/SQL, etc.
  • Independently research, organise and analyse technical information and prepare reports & recommendations
Candidates Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree e.g. B Sc. or Business qualification or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience of Data Mining, SQL
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar management position, in dynamic and fast-moving industries
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Data Analysis

Payroll Coordinator - Zambia National Commercial Bank

PAYROLL COORDINATOR (X1)
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure that employee salaries and payroll payments are paid accurately and timeously in accordance with the Bank’s payroll procedures and policies.
Under the supervision of the Accountant Payroll, the following are among the job key responsibilities:-
  • Compiling payroll inputs so as to ensure that all payroll payments have supporting documentation and are processed in adherence to payroll procedures.
  • Capturing all inputs into the payroll system and checking the input versus data captured for accuracy.
  • Preparation of monthly payrolls for Staff, Management and Executives to produce Bank salary schedules, payroll reports and payslips.
  • Ensure payment of salaries and wages is done on the designated pay day.
  • Preparation of all pension and tax schedules to ensure that payables remits payments on time.
  • Preparation of payroll audit schedules and assisting internal and external auditors during audit.
  • Ensuring that all salary related queries that might arise are dealt with promptly.
  • Ensure that all payroll payments are reconciled.
  • Resolve all payroll related queries from staff.
  • Filing of all payroll documents to ensure ease of access and audit readiness.
  • All other tasks or responsibilities as maybe assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

DEPOSIT SALES SPECIALIST (X1)
JOB PURPOSE
Primarily accountable for executing balance sheet performance on liabilities, providing key enablers to the frontlines success in driving individual deposit product sales. Owns overall Profit & Loss (P&L) for all retail deposit products and drives initiatives required to achieve deposits product marketing and sales strategy.
Under the supervision of the Head Retail Product Sales, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:-
  • To develop and execute the deposit product sales strategy
  • To enable deposit product sales through staff banking proposition
  • To drive the marketing strategy complimenting all deposit product sales
  • To nurture 3rd party partnerships that drive our deposit product dominance
  • To Implement initiatives to stem balance sheet leakages, e.g., anti-attrition unit

  • To ensure customer retention through cross selling, sales promotions, out-marketing calls, presentations and conversion of wholesale retail opportunities i.e. salary accounts, teachers accounts, pensions
  • To ensure adherence to customer complaints resolution and escalation in a timely and effective manner
  • To use voice of frontline to address pain points
  • To conduct training for customer facing staff e.g. product knowledge, sales, complaints handling, process, operations, controls etc.
  • To agree targets with team members, monitor performance and performance reviews for team members as per stipulated guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects
  • University Degree in relevant subject
  • Diploma in Banking or Finance will be an added advantage
  • At least three (3) years banking management experience
  • Understanding of Retail Banking products and account opening, KYC Requirements.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation e.g. KYC, Anti - Money laundering, Banking code.
  • Understanding of people policies and processes
