MARKETING SPECIALIST WANTED AT ZANACO BANK


Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Commercial Division under the Marketing Department at Head Office.
MARKETING SPECIALIST (X1)
JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the execution of strategies, brand management and campaigns. The executive will support the generation of strategies that will grow the Banks market share and brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Under the supervision of the Head Marketing, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:-
  • Building and managing the company’s social media profiles and presence including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube, Instagram, Blog, Email and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Building and managing a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our chosen platforms.
  • Monitoring and engaging in relevant social discussions on Zanaco.
  • Initiating effective marketing campaigns online and running regular social promotions and tracking their success (e.g Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions etc.).
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
  • Track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report on social media Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Supporting the management of the Digital Marketing stream of the Marketing Agency.
  • Grow Zanaco’s online community by implementing strategies and tactics that will grow our followers, engage and retain them and help convert them into leads, customers and active fans as well as promoters of our company.
  • Writing various types of articles on products and services that will be used as content for our platforms.
  • Educating external stakeholders about our products and services and their benefits.
  • Staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep Zanaco ahead in the digital marketing space.
  • Assisting in budget management through regular reporting of budget utilization and submitting and reconciling expense reports.
  • Responsible for logging in quotes and invoices in iProcurement.
  • Responsible for payments to agencies and suppliers.
  • Planning, setting up meetings and taking detailed minutes and action plans.
  • Maintain shared folders for all marketing templates and reports.
  • Maintain appropriate filing systems.
  • Assist in drafting briefs for agencies and other suppliers.
  • Update and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Maintain contact lists.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACT
  • External: Agencies, Vendors
  • Internal: All divisions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects.
  • Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years experience in brand management and marketing.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking.
  • Strong knowledge of Bank products and channels and product and channel market demands.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media with a command of each network and their best practices.

MONEY MARKET COORDINATOR WANTED AT ZANACO BANK


Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Operations Division under the Payments & Loan Centre Department at Head Office.
MONEY MARKET COORDINATOR (X1)
JOB PURPOSE
To process money market deals and ensure that confirmations are done in accordance with banking principles and relevant internal guidelines.
Under the supervision of the Money Market Specialist, the following are among the job key responsibilities:-
  • Confirm and verify daily cash withdrawals with Treasury report and process in the system as per stipulated time frame.
  • Confirm money markets transactions with respective counterparties and process in the system after confirmations.
  • Monitor the loan repayments from other banks and advise the supervisor accordingly.
  • Process claims for interest on late settlements of money market deals.
  • Process queries for non-receipt of funds with other correspondent banks and customers.
  • Ensure that all processed deals have matched confirmations (MT320) from the other bank plus the appropriate Reuters reports.
  • Prepare daily interbank money market returns.
  • Process collateral for money markets deals on Centralized Securities Depository (CSD) system.
  • Filing processed work orderly.
  • Any other responsibilities as maybe assigned by management.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACT
  • External: Correspondent banks, Customers, SWIFT
  • Internal: All divisions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects
  • Diploma/Degree in Banking or any other related field
  • At least two to three (2-3) years working experience
  • One-two years experience working in a bank is an added experience
  • Membership of the Financial Markets Association (ACI)

Job Title: VAS Engineer
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the VAS partners and third party application vendors.
  • Coordination of convergence systems, postpaid billing and VAS.
  • Monitoring performance indicator for billing and VAS nodes.
  • Manage the design, development and installation of application enhancements and upgrades.
  • Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new applications.
  • Ensure compliance of internal SLA between the billing/VAS section and the business.
  • Collaborate with analysts, designers and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications
Job Title: Product Analyst
Responsibilities
  • Participate in developing new products and services, portal and device.
  • Participate in project life cycle from new product research, modelling, implementation and ongoing product evaluation.
  • Facilitate accurate data analysis and reporting on performance update, project deliverables, quality, cost, time etc.
  • Drive continuous improvements, identify trends/patterns pertaining to customer requests and needs to improve

Candidates Requirements

Job Title: Applications Support Engineer
Responsibilities
  • Work with the team and to deliver data products and provide business insights through data analysis.
  • Carry out customer analytics required for execution of offers.
  • Ensure compliance of internal SLA between application team and business.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Support marketing sections and in the execution of data analyses.
  • Carry out detailed data mining, reporting, and delivering market/trend analyses to the business.
  • Extract data from various applications and systems, manipulates and explores data, produce analyses using Microsoft Access, Excel, SAS/SQL, etc.
  • Independently research, organise and analyse technical information and prepare reports & recommendations
Candidates Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree e.g. B Sc. or Business qualification or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience of Data Mining, SQL
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar management position, in dynamic and fast-moving industries
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Data Analysis
  • Troubleshooting, analytical, logical, critical thinking and problem solving abilities
