MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - Cavmont Bank Limited

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

The Management Accountant will be accountable for the management, planning and business performance control within the Bank.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Management Accountant will have the following KPI’s

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s)

Responsible for management and cost accounting; everything fancy and financial savvy of the role.
Provide pre-and-post-implementation evaluations of new and existing projects to confirm financial feasibility/outcomes.
Run with the consolidation and preparation of the annual budget, revised estimates and rolling financial forecast for the Bank.
Identification and analyses of industry trends regarding operating cost structures and cost efficiencies/ economies of scale.
Make appropriate analyses and recommendations that may influence pricing structures to improve margins and revenue streams.
Support the ongoing measuring and monitoring of actual against budget, assess progress and to identify problem/ risk areas and/ or growth opportunities.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS

At least 5 years’ working experience in the Financial Accounting and Business Analysis field.
Knowledge of business finance principles.
Knowledge of accounting systems and processing activities.
Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
Must have an entrepreneurial business aptitude, self drive for detail and critical analysis.
Must have good people management skills (coaching, mentoring, team goal structuring) and performance management capabilities.
Excellent Leadership, presentation & interpersonal skills and display proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel, Financial Modelling and PowerPoint).
SAP experience will be an added advantage or be fast trainable.
QUALIFICATION

Full Grade 12 Certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics
Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualifications in ACCA, CIMA or their equivalents.
Postgraduate qualification in Business Finance, Strategy or MBA will be an added advantage
