Human Resource Manager – Training and Development

Human Resource Manager – Training and Development (ZRA04)
Responsibilities
  • Develops strategic plans for provision of training and development of staff in line with ZRA business objectives
  • Works closely with line management to ensure that staff training needs are determined and actual training supports their business
  • Organise the preparation of the Authority’s training plans containing details of the necessary training programmes for all the Authority employees to be accomplished by means of both internal and where
    necessary, external training courses
  • Assists in designing and implementing induction or orientation courses for new employees in order to ensure that they acclimatize to the ZRA environment and work practices
  • Provides administrative and logistical support to trainees in form of venues and accommodation, training equipment and materials to ensure training delivery is effective
  • Conducts training evaluation to ensure effectiveness of training interventions in the Authority
  • Coordinate the Authority’s Performance Management & Development System
  • Liaises with Training Coordinators and ensures that they are delivering and meeting training needs of business
    units
  • Participates in preparation of Training and Development budget and monitors the training budget to ensure that all training efforts meet the intended objectives within the given financial parameters or budgets
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE)
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or relevant
  • Five years work experience
  • Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • High level of integrity
