HEAD OF MARKETING AND SALES.
Astro Mobile Zambia a subsidiary of a pan African Mobile devices and technology company Astro Mobile Africa with presence in several African countries is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Head of Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be charged with the following,
Increasing market share in line with set budgets
Achieving sales targets
Formulating the overall marketing and sales strategies that guarantees Astro of a leadership position in all material respects
Forging strategic relationships and partnerships which helps increase the market share
Creating marketing concepts which will up the brand visibility through innovative concept relevant to the Zambian landscape
Creating an innovative robust distribution system throughout Zambia
Formulation and implementation of online strategies for distributing and marketing the products.
Overally manage the marketing and sales department throughout Zambia
Monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of reports and other intelligence essential to the Marketing function.
Implementing enabling technologies, including CRM,

Marketing degree from accredited institution
Masters in Business Administration is a must
Seven years senior management experience in the mobile or telecoms industry.
Highly creative and able to come up with unique concepts.
Demonstrate proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
Computer literate
Ability to broker major deals and negotiate at executive level.
Deep knowledge of the Zambian mobile landscape
Marketing degree from accredited institution
