THE ZAMBIA QUALIFICATIONS AUTHORITY (ZAQA)
APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) was enacted by Parliament under Act No. 13 of 2011 to provide for the development and implementation of a National Qualifications Framework; to provide for the registration and accreditation of qualifications as well as provide measures to ensure that standards and registered qualifications are internationally comparable.
ZAQA started operations in November 2014 and now wishes to fill the position of Finance and Administration Manager on a contractual basis.
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Finance and Administration, the Manager has responsibility to plan and manage the financial resources of the Zambia Qualifications Authority; formulate and implement the Authority’s financial policies and strategies in order to ensure financial viability and reporting as well as; to manage administrative support functions of the Zambia Qualifications Authority for operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
The successful candidate will possess;
a) Grade 12 School Certificate
b) ZICA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualifications.
c) Member of ZICA in good standing
d) Four years, two of which should have been at management level
e) Demonstrated critical competencies in four broad categories: commitment to results; business skills, leading change and motivating staff.
