M&E Specialist job in Zambia


Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position as a M&E Specialist in a proposed new project related to HIV prevention and care. The project will if granted start in October 2016 and will focus on HIV prevention and care with focus on HIV testing and linking those tested HIV positive to HIV services as well as reaching priority and key populations, including adolescent girls and young women. The project will be carried out in Southern, Lusaka and Western Provinces and the M&E Specialist will be based in Lusaka.
M&E Specialist
ResponsibilitiesShe/ he will be overall responsible for monitoring, evaluation and reporting ensuring that the project is able to provide needed documentation to the donor and other stakeholders. She/he will lead development of the M&E framework including developing and maintaining systems for data collection, data analysis and data quality assessment.
Emphasis will be placed on ensuring linking the project data collection system with the Smart Care system maintaining personal data with all clients.
She/he will conduct supervisory visits to project staff and build their capacity to provide accurate and timely data.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Social sciences or information systems or relevant field.
  • 3 years of prior NGO experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in design and implementation of M&E systems in the HIV & AIDS care and support sector.
  • Experience with PEPFAR reporting systems.
  • Experience with using SMART CARE is an added advantage
