Financial Accountant
A growing Services Company, in the Risk Management and IT Sector is urgently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. The position is based in Lusaka.
Job Purpose
To collect, process, record, reconcile and report financial data and to verify the validity, completeness and accuracy of source documents and to maintain complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and thereby contribute to the development and implementation of the department accounting systems, processes and procedures.
Job Knowledge
Knowledge of preparation of Financial Statements. i.e. Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet, monthly Management Financial Reports for management use and Bank Reconciliation Statements.

- Accounting document/record management
- Statutory Returns
- Tax compliance and related returns
- Perform functions within the framework of compliance with company policies, procedures, processes and guidelines.
- Perform other accounting duties as may be assigned from time to time, e.g. documenting policies, procedures and processes.
Requirements:
- Honesty and good track record.
- High moral standards
- 34 year and above
- Level 3 ZICA, or CIMA Finalist
- ZICA Membership a must
- 2 years external audit experience
- Ability to work under pressure especially during the audit
- Ability to use a computer
- Good interpersonal skill
- Available immediately
