Volunteer Opportunities in Zambia - Jan 2016


Copper Rose Zambia (CRZ) is looking for 10 passionate and goal oriented young people based in Lusaka to attend a rigorous Adolescent Health Centered training for the role of ADOLESCENT HEALTH EDUCATOR (AHE)
Once trained, the AHE's will be expected to work with Copper Rose Zambia and partners educating Adolescents on Menstrual Hygiene and other Sexual and Reproductive Health related matters for a period of 18months.
In addition, AHE's will gain important leadership skills, develop teaching and public speaking skills, and have the opportunity to make a long lasting difference in the health of Adolescents in Zambia.
ELIGIBILITY
-Male or Female aged between 16 and 21 years
-Passionate about volunteerism and community work
-Should not be in their final year of study at Tertiary Level
If you fit this criteria,please submit a typed article of not more than 250 words responding to ONE of the following questions;
1.What are some of the most important sexual and reproductive health challenges facing adolescents in Zambia?
2.What can a young person do to play a part in addressing the Sexual and Reproductive Health needs of the Adolescents in the community?
3. Why are you interested in this role? How will you as a young person help when it comes to matters of menstrual hygiene management?
