The Company is inviting applications from suitably
qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the under
listed vacancies that have fallen vacant under its
Directorate of Infrastructure Planning and
Development.
Position Title: Engineer Network Analysis
Reports to: Manager Infrastructure Planning
Department: Planning and Design
Location: Lusaka
Job Purpose:
To conduct hydraulic modelling of water supply and
sanitation systems, and provide technical support to
maintenance and branch management teams
Key Responsibilities
– Gather field data on the condition of water/sewer
network infrastructure and update in the GIS (Map
System)
– Collect field data for the calibration of hydraulic
models on selected districts
– Compile standards and specifications for doing
engineering work
– Conduct pipe network infrastructure condition
inspections, update system maps, and aid in planning
maintenance and renewal strategies
– Perform preliminary hydraulic modeling on
selected districts to ascertain real time pipe network
performance and propose interventions to sustaining
or improving the deliver of quality service to our
customers
Qualifications and Experience
– Minimum of a degree in Water or Civil Engineering
– At least 2 years experience in the Water Supply and
Sanitation sector
– Experience with any water supply and sanitation
infrastructure design
– Registered Engineer with the Engineering
Registration Board (ERB) and Member of the
Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
