• Achieves Net Sales results on monthly and quarterly basis, in line with forecasted expectations and Budget guidelines for the responsible category
• Secures agreed MP levels per category on monthly basis.
• Create and control promotional activities in order to make the best possible Sony share of voice in all shops in the country.
• Execute product strategy consistent with the overall channel strategy and objectives of the business.
• Actively promotes Sony brand with the responsible channel by using all available tools.
• Develop and implement channel sales and ranging plan, which meets the objectives of the business/budget plan and is in line with Sony Hungary’s strategy and the needs of the trade.
• Manage the balance of channel trade customers through the development and implementation of account strategies and plans in order to maximise volume and share performance.
• Taking ownership and effectively balances available funds and resources across accounts maintaining profitability within the CI guideline frames
• Implement efficient brand activation and promotional planning with the BA team through ranging, promotional planning, national promotions, etc.
• Regularly visit shops and meet with dealers
• Manage the distribution and availability of the all categories within the channel in order to ensure that sales is maximised in line with market strategies and the needs of the market (by key account).
• In conjunction with local BA manager develop and implement channel specific marketing programmes, which reflect field merchandising polices and category management best practices by outlet type in order to achieve the highest level of in-store visibility of the core line up.
• Establish close working relationships with the merchandisers in order to gain high levels of field support and loyalty whilst enhancing brand value in the business environment.
• Provide sales forecasts that reflect the channel objectives for the key categories and and secures the products availability.
• Closely monitor channel specific developments including competitors activities, customer/account sales data and other relevant information to keep company management fully informed of new channel developments in order that opportunities and weaknesses are addressed as they arise.
• Work closely with central marketing team to get all necessary support from EBU for achieving MS and NS objectives
• Collect and analyse customer CPFR data and set up business plan accordingly.
Qualification and Professional Experience (Years)
• University degree with relevant educational background
• 6-8 yrs experience in retailing, sales & Brand Activation in related industries such as FMCG, CE, GSM or Textile
• Strong knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and consumer trends
• Experience in budgeting
• Multinational company experience is an asset
• Strong interest in Sony company & businesses
• Good knowledge of technology
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Computer literate, hands on experience on MS Office programs
• Driving licence
