The Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia, a Zambian NGO improving the health of Zambians by conducting locally-relevant research, providing technical support and training, and strengthen primary healthcare provision systems in the areas of the HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and other infectious disease, women’s health, and new born and child health. Lab Client Services Supervisor Kitwe Ref No. CS/LB/13/07/15Reports to Medical Lab Services Manager; the incumbent is the immediate focal point of contact for all services and needs requested by the clients from the Copper belt region and provides oversight to the operations of the provincial offices. Provides direct service and support all assigned laboratory business clients, in support of all the services being provided by CIDRZ Laboratory Services.
Main duties
- Takes measures necessary to ensure excellent, professional and high quality services are provided to all laboratory clients
- Takes a lead on client retention activities in the region and works with the Medical Lab Team for client acquisition endeavours. Maintains an accurate and update client information database
- Works with the Medical Lab Services Manager and CIDRZ Lab Finance to ensure revenue targets and yearly budget forecast is net met for the province
- Coordinates with the Medical Lab Team for the client acquisition and client retention activities in the region. Ensure that all CIDRZ assets are accounted and secure at all times and used according to the CIDRZ polices
- Maintain accurate accounting records for all payments made by contracted clients as well as individual customers
- Manages utility bills for the provincial office. Is responsible for couching, mentoring, guiding staff under his/her supervision to ensure enabling work environment for staff, and maximizing of efficiency.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificates
- Biomedical/Biological Sciences diploma
- A degree would be an added advantage
- Marketing and Customer care qualification would be an added advantage
- Minimum four years work experience with two years at supervisory level
- Marketing and Sales experience would be an added advantage
- in depth Knowledge of medical laboratory testing and terminology
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time management skills and flexible schedule to meet client needs
