PEOPLE, ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

It’s hard to believe that today over 650 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and over 2.3 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute. In Zambia alone, over 5 million people don’t have access to safe water, and 8 million don’t have adequate sanitation.
WaterAid is looking for a People, Organisational Development and Administration Manager to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team, the role will be responsible for developing and delivering people and organisational development plans which enable the country programme to achieve its strategy and goals.  With a deep understanding of the strategy and context, the role will develop and embed appropriate people and organisational solutions, policies and practices.
To be successful, you’ll need to have extensive experience in a senior HR role and at least five years at senior management level. A graduate, preferably with a Master’s degree, or with a professional HR qualification, you will be fully versed with the principles and procedures governing the full employee life cycle. Solid experience in developing and steering culture change and a willingness to challenge the status quo are required.

Please note: in order to apply for this role you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in Zambia and your knowledge of Zambian employment legislation and practices.
By 2030 we want everyone everywhere to have clean water, sanitation and hygiene. We need you to help us make it happen. If you bring your expertise, passion and professionalism, we’ll give you a lot back.
