Key Responsibilities

• Develops business plan model from Revenue to Cost of Sales
• Preparation of revenue and cost of sales forecasts
• Revenue tracking and variance analysis
• Market Intelligence
• Competitor benchmarking

Candidate Requirements

• First Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years business planning or financial analysis experience
• Experience in budgeting and forecast, data mining and analysis

Job Title: Area Representatives (Luapula, Northern and Muchinga)

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to trade in the market and grow electronic contribution to total sales.
• Grow mobile money ecosystem and numeric distribution  in the territory
• Build distribution infrastructure and grow numeric distribution  in the territory
• Drive secondary sales in the market
• Target setting & Performance management of Trade sales teams.
• Put strategy in place to ensure achievement of targeted customer number.
• Deployment & Management of MPOS devices to drive customer acquisition.
• Build equity at the retail point and ensure visibility to drive sales revenue.
• Communication of promotions to the retail trade & ensure customer
• Training of all Trade related agents on promotions & products.
• Manage below the line activities in the allocated Zone.
• Market development & new site rollout

Candidates Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree  or Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration
• 2-3 years’ experience in a dealer Management function or FMCG sales environment.
• Manages negotiations

• Monitors work

AREA MANAGER CONSUMER SALES JOB AT MTN ZAMBIA

Job Title: Area Manager Consumer Sales (Lusaka)

Responsibilities

• Build strong distribution network within the area, leading to the recruitment of distributors with presence in peripheral areas or strategic growth areas by way of setting up connect stores
• Prepares annual plan and budget to implement area strategy and translate plan into sales targets
• Provide support to appointed Distributors, including appropriate branding of distributor facilities, supply of adequate stocks, building of capacity, training on any new products and services and resolution of conflict amongst distributors
• Monitor distributor performance through sales reports and take action to ensure targets are met
• Support Area Representatives in the identification of new sales opportunities in the area and manage the area sales team towards goals set
• Reports on key accounts in the area on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and half-yearly basis, ensuring reports are accurate and on time
• Provides market and customer information and intelligence to Marketing
• Liaises with Networks for the resolution of any network problems in the Area
• Effectively manages the development of direct reports, effectively linking performance management, learning & development, talent management and the MTNZ Employee Value Proposition to achieve optimum performance

Candidates Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Sales/Marketing/Commerce
• 4 Years sales experience
• Administration and Operational Management experience
• Telecommunications experience an advantage
• Manages negotiations and market awareness
