The Occupational Health and Safety Institute in Kitwe, established under the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 36 of 2010 ¡s looking for suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following positions:

DRIVER (1 POSITION)

Reporting to the Director

JOB PURPOSE

To drive the vehicles of the institute in order to facilitate mobility of officers, materials and equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

a) Drives safety and regularly the vehicles of the Institute on official business in order to facilitate attainment of set objectives.
b) Prepares timely accident reports in order to facilitate decision making.
c) Updates timely and accurately log books in order to enhance accountability of trips made.
d) Checks the vehicles regularly in order to ascertain their road worthiness.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Form 5/Grade 12 School Certificate
• SADC PSV Driver’s licence
• Craft certificate in Automotive Mechanics is an added advantage
• 2 years in a similar field
• Must be 35 years and above
