Responsibilities

• Drive sales to trade in the market and grow electronic contribution to total sales.
• Grow mobile money ecosystem and numeric distribution  in the territory
• Build distribution infrastructure and grow numeric distribution  in the territory
• Drive secondary sales in the market
• Target setting & Performance management of Trade sales teams.
• Put strategy in place to ensure achievement of targeted customer number.
• Deployment & Management of MPOS devices to drive customer acquisition.
• Build equity at the retail point and ensure visibility to drive sales revenue.
• Communication of promotions to the retail trade & ensure customer
• Training of all Trade related agents on promotions & products.
• Manage below the line activities in the allocated Zone.
• Market development & new site rollout

Candidates Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree  or Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration
• 2-3 years’ experience in a dealer Management function or FMCG sales environment.
• Manages negotiations
• Market aware
• Monitors work

DISTRICT PROGRAM OFFICER , Society for Family Health

Society for Family Health (SFH) seeks an experienced individual for the position of District Program Officer who will lead the District Self-Testing in Africa (STAR) project teams by providing clarity of vision and prioritisation of activities and resources; He /she will provide guidance to the detailers and the Community Based Distributors (CBDs) as well as together set priorities and strategies on implementation of the STAR project. Should be able to inspire and support staff and ensure that they are motivated towards achieving project objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of the STAR project activities across the district in order to maximize health impact and resource utilization and to ensure delivery of quality health services in line with established deliverables.
• In liaison with the Regional Manager, represent SFH at district level meeting with to foster collaborative relationships for HIVST and to uphold a favorable image of SFH in the region.
• Develop and track required work plans and budgets and ensure implementation is in compliance with SFH rules and regulations.
• Produce monthly reports on program implementation and expenditure.
• Oversee the implementation of communications/promotional and sales/distribution activities in line with project strategies.
• Oversee the coordination of a sustainable supply chain management system to ensure that supplies, consumables and equipment are available for smooth operations.
• In liaison with the Regional Manager, conduct staff performance appraisals, identify performance gaps and draw up staff development plans in order to improve performance.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Nursing or Clinical Medicine (a degree in nursing and clinical medicine is an added advantage).
• Masters in Public Health is an added advantage
• 3 years management experience.
• Proven track record of increasing responsibility to oversee projects, including financial, human resource, compliance, and quality assurance components.
• In-depth knowledge of the MoH and provincial and district level public health environment.
• INGO experience strongly preferred

MEDICAL DETAILER , Society for Family Health

Society for Family Health(SFH) seeks an experienced individual for the position of Medical Detailerwhose main purpose is toinfluence the knowledge, skills and behaviours of medical providers (private, public and community-based) to increase demand for and access to HIV self-testing kits and additional services. They provide informative and accurate product information to clinicians and providers; dispelling misconceptions surrounding particular products.  They ensure that the product is available to and acceptable by the general public.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote use of and sell HIV self-testing (HIVST) kitsto retail and wholesale drug establishments such as pharmacies and to educate distributors and customers about the new product, and explain characteristics and clinical studies conducted with HIVST kits.
• Provide technical support to the community based distributors for HIVST kits, including additional post-test services available.
• Train CBDs on the HIVST product and ensure the right key messages are used in their communication interventions on the brand
• Identify distribution outlets for HIVST kits in the community and review community distributers sales performance
• Regularly visit outlets to create brand loyalty, provide product and information.  This includes expanding the product positioning by the provider within their treatment regime and dispelling myths about products
• Ensure that outlets are well stocked in with HIVST test kits and IEC materials
• Report regularly on progress made to the Regional Manager

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in nursing or Diploma in clinical medicine
• Master in Public Health is an added advantage
• At least 3 years working experience handling HIV testing and community based activities including counselling
• At least 2 years’ experience in training clinical and community service providers
• In-depth knowledge of theprovincial and district level public health environment required
• Private experience, particularly interface with pharmaceutical organizations is an added advantage
