DISTRICT MANAGER Wanted at Chambeshi Water and Sewerage Company

Job Purpose:

To plan, coordinate and manage operations at a district involved in the provision of quality water and sewerage services, commercial services including customer relations so as to contribute to financial viability and service delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure adequate water and sewerage service delivery to customers as per service level guarantee.
• To interpret implement the company policies, procedures and the strategic plan to his reporters
• To effectively implement maintenance management system (MMS).
• To meet set district targets.
• To enhance business in the district by maintaining collection efficiency above 100%.
• To maintain good industrial relations with the workers, customers and stakeholders.
• To represent the Company in all stakeholder fora at district level.
• To Prepare and submit required district reports on time
• Carry out any other duties commensurate with his/her qualifications and in line with his/her job as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in any Engineering field i.e Water, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical.
• Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
• Registered with Engineering Regulatory Board (EngRB)
• Must be 35 and 45 years of age
• Not Less than 3 years’ work experience at supervisor level
• Clean driver’s license
• Must be self-motivated, analytical and fluent in English languages both written and oral
• Applicants must be able to relocate to semi-urban Districts in Muchinga and Northern Province.
• Must be computer literate, including internet.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Auto Card
• Must be honest and integrity keeper
