Our client, an ISP, is recruiting for the position of Network Core Engineer.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Core Manager you will be:
- Ensuring the stability of the network
- Providing technical support for clients across Points-of-Presence (POPs)
- Providing technical support to other departments within the company
- Troubleshooting (proactive) monitoring and reporting of key systems on the company’s network
- Providing training to team members on new technical innovations or processes
- Providing leadership on key projects
- Providing technical support and oversight for remote POPs assigned by the Supervisor
- Proactively monitoring the client complaint system and lead on any critical issues that may reflect in the system
- Staying up to date on new technologies relevant to the industry
Essentials
- Degree from a recognized university in Electronic Engineering/ Telecommunications or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in a similar sector would be an added advantage.
