Receptionist

The Development Bank of Zambia (DBZ) is a development finance institution that provide competitively priced tailor-made solutions to viable local enterprises as a catalyst to economic development.
Responsibilities
  • Help walk in customers get prompt service from the Bank
  • Attend to visitors or customers who call at the  reception
  • Ensure that visitors do not wait for a member of staff who is not in the office at the reception area
  • Ensure that  the reception is open not later than 08:00 hours and closed at 17:00 hours
  • Ensure that all incoming mails are attended to and dispatched promptly
  • Ensure that the publications and materials for reading at the reception area are update every three months, replace old with new ones
  • Ensure all incoming mail addressed generally are opened, stamped and recorded in the in-coming mail book which is signed off by the Human Resources Officer
  • Ensure that the emergency procedure is followed at all times in cases of an emergency
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 certificate with five ‘O’ levels
  • Certificate in Tertiary Education
  • Two years experience with demonstrated experience in a busy reputable institution
  • Well groomed
  • Posses exceptional communication skills
