Zambia Telecommunications Company Ltd is a Company incorporated in Zambia under the Companies Act Chapter 388 of the Laws of Zambia. The sole shareholder of the Company is the Government of the Republic of Zambia. Administrative Assistant
Purpose of the position
Performing all administrative, secretarial, stores and office management work of the organization.

Reports to: Human Resources Officer
Main duties and responsibilities
Provide administrative assistance to the Managing Director and other senior staff as required from time to time
Processing of Purchase Requisition forms
Ordering and keeping a reasonable supply of office stationery, groceries and other requisites to ensure smooth operations
Receiving phone calls and directing them to the respective departments and screening visitors
Updating the medical records and ensuring that all the bills received are posted to the respective accounts on a monthly basis
Making a logical and systematic filing system for the office for easy retrieval of documents and reference to the documents / correspondence
Making necessary arrangements for meetings, coordinate appointments both internally and externally
Ensuring that all the offices are kept clean at all times
Maintaining high level of confidentiality
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director/Human Resources Officer
Qualifications

Qualifications
Full Grade Twelve Certificate
Diploma in secretarial/Office Management and or Business Administration, Public Administration or a relevant field with appropriate experience of not less than two years
Must be in possession of a Drivers’ License (Manual Transmission)
Knowledge of records Management will be an added advantage
