Astro Mobile Zambia a subsidiary of a pan African Mobile devices and technology company Astro Mobile Africa with presence in several African countries is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Sales, the incumbent will be charged with the following,
Manage and co-ordinate Astro retail operations and ensure that the regions consistently achieves targets, ensuring viability and profitability of all the operations.
Pro - actively contribute to the formulation and direction of the retail strategy and implement the agreed to strategy to achieve set monthly targets
Support the management of customer service activities and staff competence so as to optimize and sustain sales performance and customer satisfaction,
Effectively manage the P&L within allocated budget so as to achieve a profitable performance
Manage budgets in line with performance,
Ensure compliance with set policies and procedures in all areas of operational activity

Qualifications
At least a Degree in Business Management / Sales and Marketing/ Accounting or a related field and 3 years’ commercial experience at a similar level
Ability to manage and develop a positive and productive management team

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching skills
Highly organized with the ability to adapt quickly to strategic change
Ability to train ,develop and knowledge of direct report preparation
Previous retail management experience preferably in the mobile devices space
Holds a clean driving license and is able to stay overnight as and when required
