Learning and Development Manager Job at BancABC Zambia

BancABC Zambia (owned by Atlas Mars Ltd) has over 13 years of banking experience in Zambia and operates over 20 branches throughout the country. The bank is looking for an energetic, confident and ambitious individual to fill the following position:
Learning and Development Manager
Functions
  • Engaging respective business units/stakeholders in establishing a performance enhancing partnership
  • Actively participate in the alignment of learning strategies to that of the organizations strategic visions
  • Ensuring that learning solutions are delivered in an effective manner so as to have a return on investment to the business
Reporting linesThe Learning and Development Manager will report directly to the Country Head of Human Capital as well as Group Regional Learning and Development Manager.
Qualifications                              
  • Must have five O level credits or better which should include Mathematics and English
  • Must have a relevant first degree
  • Master’s degree in any social science preferable but not essential
  • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • Accreditation/Certification as a Training Facilitator will be an added advantage
Requirements
  • Three years of continuous work experience in the banking sector or similar environment
  • Exceptional understanding of learning and development models and methodologies
Skills
  • Innovative and Conceptual thinker
  • Able to network and learn quickly
  • Excellent oral and writing skills
  • Good command of English
  • Excellent user knowledge of the Microsoft office package i.e. MS Word, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
