Financial Sector Deepening Zambia (FSD Zambia) is a financial sector development organisation working with both public and private sector actors to support the development of the Zambian financial sector to serve households, smallholder farmers, and micro and small enterprises.
1. Senior Project Manager – Agriculture Finance
Reporting to the Thematic Lead for Smallholder Farmers and Households the Senior Project Manager will be an expert in agriculture finance for smallholder farms. S/He will be responsible to provide leadership in designing, implementing and managing various interventions to facilitate outreach to smallholder farmers. S/He will coordinate and provide tailored support to private and public stakeholders with the interest and potential capacity to research, test, pilot and scale financial products and services that will benefit Zambian smallholder farmers.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- A Master’s degree in related field
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive responsible work experience in project management related to agriculture finance and /or financial services for smallholder farmers.
- Fluency in English and ideally one or two local languages.
