Position: Deputy Team Leader
(i) Objective/Purpose of the Assignment:
The Deputy Team Leader will support the Team Leader (in absence of Team Leader he/she will
lead) to coordinate the entire project and in the delivery of all project activities (i-v). He/she

(ii) Skills required:
Deputy Team Leader is expected to have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Highway, Civil or Environmental Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in road design and construction (higher qualifications in a relevant field will be an added advantage);
- A good understanding and experience of the various climate change challenges facing Zambia including the country’s ability to cope with these challenges;
- Substantial experience from the institutional arrangements in RDA;
- He/She shall be a member of a professional body such as the Engineering Institution of Zambia (E.I.Z) and registered to practice by an appropriate body such as the Engineers Registration Board (E.R.B);
- Knowledge of current standards and norms in practice in the southern African
Region; - Strong team building skills; and
- Good written and spoken communication skills (in English).
Duration: 48 months
