GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is seeking to recruit four Medical Sales Representatives report to the Country Manager.
Job purpose
Engage and maintain a business relationship related to GSK products offering with a Healthcare Professionals (HCP) as defined by the business operating plan and who are assigned to him/her and to promote GSK as partner of choice for the therapeutic area of the Healthcare professional. The role has no direct reports and is a based in Lusaka, Copperbelt or Southern Province.

Responsibilities
- Accountable to own and achieve territory business objectives for assigned products
- Ensure all territory sales activities are aligned with the brand strategy, drivers of growth and campaigns
- Achieve and maintain high level of selling skills based GSK sales model
- Achieve designated activity KPIs as defined by minimum GSK sales force expectations, e.g. Call rates, cover age and frequency related to achievement of business objectives
- Ensure all sales activities are consistent with GSK Business Ethics and GSK Promotional Code
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in the health science field preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Selling experience
Knowledge
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Successful record in sales
- Advanced computer skills
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity; ability to adapt own approach to suit different groups
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation and diplomacy
