The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing pediatric HIV infection and eliminating pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention, care, and treatment programs. Founded in 1988, EGPAF works in 14 countries around the world. In Zambia, EGPAF has been working to provide critical HIV prevention, care and treatment services since 2001. Today, EGPAF-Zambia uses its expertise to provide technical assistance and support programmatic capacity building to the Government of Zambia at national and provincial levels.
In anticipation of a 5 year project in Zambia, the EGPAF is seeking mid- to senior-level candidates to complement an existing team of technical experts based in our Lusaka office.
Relevant work experience may include working closely at the primary health care system level in the planning and implementation of capacity building activities. Candidates are sought in one or more of the following areas:
- Conducting/managing capacity building needs assessments related to health information systems (HIS);
- Systems integration;
- Data for decision making;
- Training for data use;
- Systems architecture and/or deployment;
- Health informatics;
- QA/QI;
- Electronic health records
- Mobile technology for HIS
Experience working with the Ministry of Health departments and/or international non-governmental organizations in Health Information System project implementation is preferred. Experience with PEPFAR projects highly preferred.
