ROLE: Production Volunteers
LOCATION: Lusaka, Zambia.
COMPENSATION: Volunteer

Summary of Position:
The Sunshine Zambia Project is a social enterprise in which persons with intellectual disabilities are stimulated and aided to create and sell products using recycled materials as well as receive training that will prepare them for employment on the open job market. The project produces various products including but not limited to wine bottle crafts, plastic bottle crafts, pet biscuits, vegetables and herbs.
The Sani Foundation is seeking 2 Art and Crafts volunteers to undertake the following work:
- Ensure that raw materials are available for production of crafts
- Train the members in production of crafts while identifying the strength, limitations and interests
- Ensure that quality of crafts meets customer expectations
- Receive orders from individual and corporate customers
- Ensure that orders are produced within a reasonable time in order to satisfy our clientele
- Organise the selling of goods at flea markets, fundraisers and other sales points
- Ensure that payment are collected for each order and a receipt issued to the customer

- A quick learner
- Able to meet commitments and deadlines
- Committed and passionate for results
- Able to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with arts, crafting or gardening is an advantage
