Job description
This position fills a strategic role in our effort to increase on the ground service to our customers and thereby further grow our Rock Drilling Tools (RDT) business in Zambia.Our products have a strong reputation on the market and we are considered one of the market leaders in Ground support and Rock Drilling Tools when it comes to quality and performance.You will be in direct contact with our customers and products on the field, as well as assisting site / key account Managers with product selection, training, performance and follow ups.You will find yourself in an interesting, exciting and challenging position as you many times will set the foundation for future success with both new and existing customers, as well as in new applications.Focus areas are:· Product performance audits· Monthly performance reports· Monthly discard analysis reports· Drill tools management reporting, including Care and Maintenance of Rock Drilling Tools· Routine training on Good Drilling Practice· Monitor and implement controls on the management of All Rock Drilling Tools· Assist in developing current contracts, making sure we get the most out of every opportunity. Ensure correct products and practices are being used
Experience requirements
Experience from mining environments in general and Rock Drilling Tools in particular, is an advantage.
Educational requirements
Full grade 12 School certificate. Technical Mining education is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. What’s more important is that you have a sound technical knowledge and are willing to take own initiatives in tour approach to solving problems. You have an open mind with regards to finding new ways of doing things. You must be able to handle Microsoft office as a reporting tool of your findings. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

You are service minded with a sound technical understanding. You have the ability to make own decisions in order to fulfill your mission. As you will work closely with both internal personnel, as well as directly with customers, you must be great at cooperating and interacting with people at all business levels.
