3.0 RESPONSIBLE TO: Managing Director
4.0 RESPONSIBLE FOR: Accountant and Accounts Officers
5.0 LIAISON WITH: Managing Director, Commercial Director, Technical Director, HRAM Manager and Project Manager
6.0 PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Finance Manager shall be responsible for all of the Company’s financial operations and shall be monitor the work of the Accounting Section.
7.0 MAIN ACTIVITIES (in priority order):

Purpose of Activity
1. Financial Management
(i) To plan and managing financial operations of the Company
(ii) To supervise all financial functions of the Company
(iii) To establish and monitor internal control systems
(iv) To monitor and analyse the Company’s revenue and expenditure trends
(v) To produce accurate and up-to-date financial management reports
2. Management
(i) To assist the Management in financial strategic planning and implementation of the Company’s strategies
(ii) To provide in-service training for accounts officers, when required
8.0 PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Financial reports are prepared and submitted on time to Management and NWASCO
Internal control systems developed and implemented
9.0 JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Accountancy, ACCA or CIMA
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience from a commercially company, preferably within the utility sector
Computer literate
Member of ZICA
