BancABC Zambia (owned by Atlas Mara)has over 13 years of banking experience in Zambia and operates over 20 branches throughout, the country. The bank is looking for an energentic, confident and highly ambitious individual to fill the position of Country Marketing Manager.The country Marketing manager is responsible for building and managing the Banc ABC brand and supporting revenue growth and profitability by developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that reach BancABCs target market.
Key Function
• To oversee product development
• Review and update all website content
• To oversee market research and analysis
• To identify and manage appropriate sponsorships/events
• To create positive brand awareness internally and externally
• To manage the bank’s corporation and social responsibility activities
• To provide leadership in the design and production of all aspects of visual marketing
• To oversee the development,selection,odering and dissemination of promotional items
• To handle public relation and corporate communications and manage news flow to the media
• To direct customer service and customers service monitoring processes to ensure clients retention
• To maintain and enforce the guidelines of the BancABC corporate identity and creative style guide

Reportings Lines
The Country Marketing Manager reports to the Country head of retail
Academic Qualifications
• Zambia Institute of Marketing membership
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
• A Marketing, Business or Other relevant degree from an accredited institution
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
• A Marketing, Business or Other relevant degree from an accredited institution
Experience Requirements
5 years leadership experience in marketing and management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management,sales and business development,budget management and financial reporting.
Knowledge and Skills
Must have a solid foundation in financial products, and marketing communications and must have sharp analytical and skills
