The United Church of Zambia is in the process of constructing its head office investment complex along Mosi-O-Tunia Road in Woodlands Lusaka. In the quest to ensure Quality Assurance on the project the Church requires the services of a Clerk Of Works (COW). We therefore invite applications from suitable qualified and experienced individuals to apply for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Post contract duties for the construction of a Double Storey House on the premises mentioned above.
QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
i) Possession of Diploma or Higher Diploma in Building Construction, and/or Civil Engineering.
ii) Minimum of four (4) years experience in the supervision of building construction works.
iii) Fluent in English.
iv) Ability to read and interpret drawings and make reports.
v) Ready to work long hours and be proficient in computers.
vi) Exhibit understanding of duties and responsibilities of Clerk of Works/Inspector of Buildings for Building Construction.
vii) Demonstrable honesty and integrity is desirable.
