Leonard Cheshire Disability is currently recruiting for an Inclusive Education Advisor to join its regional office based in Lusaka, Zambia.
It is an exciting time for Leonard Cheshire Disability. The international community is waking up to the fact that the goals of ending poverty and sustainable development cannot be achieved without including persons with disability. This role is critical to developing LCD’s Inclusive Education programme in the Southern Africa region through capacity building and technical support, ensuring quality of interventions and demonstrating innovative approaches to Inclusive Education.
The Inclusive Education Advisor will also represent LCD at provincial and district platforms for education, engaging in strategic alliances and networks. You will have extensive expertise in developing and implementing inclusive education programmes in a number of countries and contexts across Africa. You will have a track record in managing complex partnerships, providing technical support and guidance to ensure effective and quality implementation of programmes.
