The incumbent will head the finance function of a Business Unit (Mine & Process Plants).
The key responsibilities include:
1. Generation of periodic MIS, Variance and other management reports
2. Working Capital Management and Control
3. Close coordination with the business heads playing a business partner role to enable business to achieve the plan numbers
4. Analysis of various aspects of the business along with benchmarking to assist decision making
5. Driving cost saving initiatives with effective coordination between different departments (including periodic cost monitoring) to achieve the desired results
6. Capex Control and post capex implementation review
7. Responsible for internal control system in IBU and communicate financial policies & procedures to staff and ensure they are implemented and adhered to.
8. Active involvement in all commercial aspects of the business
9. Driving other business initiatives as required by Executive committee
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications / Requirements
1. CA/ACCA/ICWA having 7-10 years of experience in Finance function.
2. Strong Analytical skills.
3. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
4. Experience in Commercial negotiations and contracts.
5. Very good working knowledge of SAP FICO/MM Modules and other IT environment to leverage IT to the maximum.
