Our Client is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join their team. Reports to: The Managing Director and be based either at the Mumbwa/Big Concession Farm or Lusaka.
Key areas of Responsibilities
To lead the land surveying team in order to determine and establish the boundaries of the farms with use of electronic instruments like G.P.S, Total Station etc.
To translate information from the survey equipment into maps with dimensions.
The Job Summary
Physical land surveying by using G.P.S, Dumpy level, total station, scanners, mapping equipment.
Depicting coordinates with use of G.P.S and able to lead a team.
Converting the G.P.S. information maps by using computer in order to prepare drawing and site plans.
Link with architectural systems
Key Skills
Ability to undertake long travel distances in rural set-ups in the bush, farms, road settings.
Conversant with the use computer-based systems such AutoCAD, topography/ArcGIS.
Be an assertive, diplomatic and possibly linguistic and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent MS office skills in Word, Excel, AutoCAD and other related computer based programs.
Knowledge of research, maps, deeds, land ownership
Passion for the bush, with zeal to work without supervision
