Main duties:
To provide effective support to the District Apostle’s office and ensure timely coordination of church programmes.
Primary Accountabilities
Managing and maintaining the District Apostle’s calendar and coordinating travel arrangements
Briefing the District Apostle on upcoming meetings and travel arrangements
Writing and typing various official correspondence and reports on behalf of the District Apostle
Maintaining the database and filing system to ensure that documents are appropriately and timely filed
Making official appointments and drawing schedules for meetings in consultation with the District Apostle and other team members (e.g. Board and National Council)
Working collaboratively with a variety of persons and positions locally, nationally and internationally
Supporting the hospitality, inclusiveness, compassion and mission of the church
Performing other duties as assigned by the District Apostle
Qualifications:
Grade 12 Certificate
Secretarial Training
A minimum of a Diploma in Secretarial training
Knowledge in Human Resource, Public and/or Business Administration will be an added advantage
A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position in a busy environment
