MTN Zambia it’s currently looking for a suitably qualified person to fill in the position of;

Senior Manager: Core/IP/MPLS Planning & Optimization

Responsibilities

• Manage service planning team formulate plans the ensures that MTN Zambia becomes the leader in technology
• Design network performance and configuration monitoring parameters to ensure conformance
• Monitor network performance and configuration to ensure conformance
• Assist in formulating Network Group business plans
• Inter department collaboration / interface with other Network Group divisions particularly Operations and implementations
• Ensure compliance with Government and Regulatory license requirements
• Handling of customer complaints and supplier contracts management
• Come-up with competitor benchmarking tests
• Formulate network evolution plans with a strategic view of more than 3 years.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Qualification and Requirements

• Five (5) years’ experience in Network planning with an Internet Service Provider/Networking Company
• Training on vendor equipment and software
• New technologies training /seminars
• Other general training e.g. Presentation skills etc
