Job Title: Registered Nurse (11 Positions — Lusaka, Central Southern, Copperbelt Province)
Job Summary
Provide Clinical HIV management and primary care services to patients in collaboration with the clinic clinician including making assessments and treatment of primary care needs, opportunistic infections, HIV related illnesses and co-morbid conditions. Provide education to patients and patient personal support system.
Core/Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
- Provide assessment and triage patients according to tie need
- Provides education to patient and patient’s personal support system in areas such as disease management, safe sex referrals, etc.
- Ensure that care as appropriate, timely and coordinated
- Initiate referrals as needed to multi-disciplinary team members
- Provide education to patient and patient’s support system in areas such as disease management, hygiene, etc
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Diploma in Nursing – General
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HIV treatment and care
- Registration with GNC with a valid practicing licence
