Job Title: Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Our client, in Agribusiness, is looking to recruit a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to be based in the Copperbelt. Your duties will include:
- Performing routine maintenance by following a checklist for the inspection process.
- Performing tasks such as replacing oil or lubricating equipment during routine maintenance.
- Replacing or repairing damaged and malfunctioning parts after doing inspection.
- Making use of computers dials or gauges to interpret diagnostic test results.
- Inspecting the parts and systems that make up the machine or vehicle.
- Determining extent of repair required
- Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective part
- Testing repaired equipment for proper performance
Requirements
- 7-10 years relevant work experience
- A qualification in a relevant field
- Must have experience working on CAT/ Cummins machinery
