COUNTRY DIRECTOR (MATERNITY COVER)

Length of Contract & Conditions: Preferably available to start in November 2015 until April 2016. 
Salary: ZMW 242,040 Gross Annual (Pro-Rata based on length of contract)
Location: Kabwe, Zambia

This year, Restless Development Zambia is coordinating an exciting action 2015 coalition which pushes for the highest visibility for young people’s sexual health and rights within the Sustainable Development Goals. 2015 represents a unique window of opportunity for young people to have a voice in the critical final stages of setting the development agenda. Restless Development Zambia is also at a unique stage with lots of new innovations and projects to be starting which will further engage and redefine the role of young people and CSOs in the policy making and implementation agenda. We have new funding coming in from British Council, Queens Young Leaders and AmplifyChange to manage the new innovations.

We are seeking a talented young professional to drive strategy, results, and partnership management for our agency in Zambia. The Country Director’s (CD’s) main duties delivered directly and through leadership of the Zambia Management Team, are:

• Leadership of Organisational Strategy and Direction
• Supervision and Support of Management Team
• Oversight of Programmes, Operations, Human Resources and Finances
• External Relations, Advocacy, Partnership Development and Resource Mobilisation
• Support to and Liaison with National Board
