result-oriented, well-qualified and experienced professional to fill the positions of IT Officer –
Analyst Programmer under IT Department.
IT OFFICER – ANALYST PROGRAMMER- ZRA 06 (2)
Reporting directly to the Senior IT Officer – Analyst/Programmer, the job holder will be
responsible for developing where prescribed, computer systems in ZRA and to ensure their
services and facilities meet business needs through integration of various systems as well as to
provide enhancement for any outsourced systems.
MAIN ·DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conducts systems analysis, development and implementation for systems that will
·assist in achieving a sustainable increase in revenue collection.
Documents all systems developed according to systems development standards and
·ensures that the accepted methodology is followed.
Strengthens existing information systems to enhance efficiency, coordination and
·complete integration between various ZRA systems.
·Develops and implement IT systems development standards and procedures.
·Effects systems enhancements as prescribed.
Tests the systems amendments before installation.
REQUIREMENTS ·Grade twelve (12) School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE)
·equivalent
·Minimum of University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Minimum of two years' post qualification work experience as an IT Analyst and/or
software developer.
OTHER ·SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
·Analytical ability.
·High level of honesty, integrity, objectivity and independence
·Team player
·Personal organisation.
·Management Skills
·Problem Solving Skills
