JOB TITLE: TEACHER OF FRENCH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Alliance Française of Lusaka is looking for candidates to fill a position of teacher of French as a Foreign Language.

Mission

The Teacher of French as a Foreign Language teaches French to adults, teenagers and children, according to the communicative approach adopted at Alliance Française. He/she might also teach corporate French in the premises of the companies or organizations in Lusaka.

Main tasks

• Teaching of French as a Foreign language in collective or private courses
• Creating teaching materials and activities
• Participating in the pedagogical meetings
• Replacing colleagues which are on leave
• Evaluating new students

Requirements

• A Degree in French language and Education
• An excellent level in French (speaking and written). A DALF Certificate is an added advantage. Good level in English is required too.
• A minimum of 3 years work experience as a Teacher of French as a Foreign Language (with children, teenagers and/or adults)
• Must be computer literate (including Internet)
• Must be punctual and professional
• Must be self-motivated and creative
• Must be able to follow a communicative approach and use modern teaching materials (experience with interactive board is an added advantage)
