Finance Manager
Reports to: Director Finance and Support Services
Role Purpose:
Responsible for the overall financial management book keeping functions of SC.In addition; the position will be responsible for efficient and effective management of SC cash flows, updating and reconciling the accounting ledgers, managing the end of period procedures, capitalization of fixed assets and ensuring the generation of monthly financial reports to head office.
Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for implementing SCI financial policies and procedure, updating and maintenance of the accounts structures, coordinating data and transactions processing and providing user technical support and training of Agresso financial system.
• Support to DFSS in preparing country annual plan (CAP) budgets and their quarterly revision
• Responsible for generating accurate and timely financial statements on monthly basis and prepare financial analysis for DFSS to review and present to SLT;
• Accountable for producing for the month financial reports (MFR) and year end financial statements
• Ensuring that each sources of Fund (SOF) budget is accurately entered in the system and generates monthly BVA reports on timely basis;

Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration from a recognised University.Postgraduated or professional qualification such as ACCA,CIMA,CIS or equivalent would be an added advantage
• Should be registered member of ZICA with a valid practicing certificate
• Atleast 5 years relevant experience working for INGO in a humanitarian and development setting
• Strong background in external donor reporting for international NGO and experience working with major donors like USAID,SIDA,EU,ECHO etc.
