The Zambian Governance Foundation (ZGF), is a non-profit organisation, and was established to enhance the capacity of Zambian civil society organisations involved in pro-poor policy engagement work.
ZGF supports civil society organisations in capacity development, policy engagement and social accountability monitoring and in the long term support of developing strategic plans and governance systems as well as access to ZGF grants.

Responsibilities
- Identify organisations with potential to carry out policy engagement and social accountability work through partnerships
- Enhance capacity in identifying service delivery issues
- Enhance governance systems and capacities
- Strengthening collaboration with local media on policy engagement, social accountability and other development-related issues in the target area
- Strengthening political relationships with duty bearers through fostering relationships that are collaborative and not confrontational.
Qualifications
- Diploma in development and policy engagement work
- A good understanding of civil society and government interaction
- Strong training skills and ability to produce high quality, clear reports and other project documents
- Fluent in English and Bemba.
