Material Development Specialist – General Nursing Council of Zambia

Applications are invited from highly motivated, result oriented, qualified and experienced persons to fill the the following vacancy:

Material Development Specialist – (1 Position)

Purpose

Responsible for the development and production of the teaching and learning materials (power point presentations, illustrations, links, enhancing existing materials and video materials) for the nursing and midwifery training institutions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Developing, packaging and enhancing of training materials including the audio visual materials.
2. Evaluating high standards of producing teaching and learning materials.
3. Participating in the development study materials including audio-visual materials.
4. Participating in curriculum reviews of various training programmes.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Form Five / Crude Twelve School Certificate.
2. BSc in Nursing and/or Midwifery.
3. Three years working experience; one of which should be at managerial level.
4. Valid Nurses/Midwifery practicing licence.
5. Should not be more than 45 years of age.

Skill Specifications and Attributes

1. Good leadership and supervisory skills
2. Good verbal and written communications skills
3. Computer literacy
4. Good interpersonal and team work skills
5. Teaching skills
