BiRD is currently looking for expressions of interests from experts in the justice sector with various specialisations.
Well-qualified candidates should have the following illustrative qualifications:
*University degree in a relevant field such as International Law, Human Rights, Economics, International Development or Public Administration. An advanced degree (MA, MSc, MBA, PhD) is preferred;
*Knowledge of EC and GIZ or other international donor rules and regulations;
*Regional Experience in Subsaharan Africa required and exerience in Zambia considered an asset;
*Demonstrated capability to work effectively with senior and local government officials, public interest and community groups, private industry representatives;
*Outstanding communication, management, and reporting skills; and
*Fluency in written and oral English required.
